I'm answering questions from the guitar community today!
Meet the first member of the Play Guitar Community - Dean York.
The live podcast starts at 5pm EST.
Dean's three questions are:
I know that the counting system of a scale is based on the major scale and the major pentatonic is 1,3,4,5,7, is it better to learn the notes or the numbering system, both, which one first?
Learning the note names of each scale, when does that become natural, is there an easy way to remember them?
Arpeggio’s: I am confused are these always 3 notes? What if you add the 7th in is that a four note arpeggio? Best way to practice them?
